Disappointments on Smart Broadband

We have our Smart WiFi connection for a week and 4 days now. I was the happiest person alive that day eversince I resigned from work. I get to see all the blogs. I can upload and download lot of stuffs on my blog. Email my friends and read emails from my various e-groups. I can surf the internet 24/7 without worrying that somebody might call on our phone … pag dial up kasi laging busy ang phone di ba? I can play online games… can chat with my friends abroad … that’s what I thought …

For a week and 4 days now, I’m not really quite satisfied with the performance of Smart Broadband. I hope there’s somebody from Smart reading my entry today. Naiinis na kasi ako. Eto lang observation ko:

1. When its raining, you have zero connection. More worst kahit ambon lang, super hindi ka maka-connect. Susme … August to October eh rainy season. Don’t tell me lagi kami walang internet?

2. Since Saturday of Aug. 19 we’ve been experiencing this problem because of the zero connection. The customer service team on the other line tell us how to troubleshoot the connection. As if I don’t do this in Laoag. Hawak ko ang server namin dun. I told them the problem is in their signal, not our computer. I’m as calm as ever. But as day past by, still no answer from their technical team, talagang nagalit na ako sa customer service nila nun. Sabi ko kung papaulit nyo nanaman yan ipconfig na yan mag-aapply na akong troubleshooter sa Smart kasi kabisado ko na kung paano gawin eh. Super natameme yung person na nakausap ko. I told them na ang ilagay nya sa report na magpapunta na ng technical service team dito sa bahay namin para ayusin ang Canopy (antenna ng Smart WiFi) dahil may interference yung signal na binabato nila sa amin.

3. The technical crew called us after a week and they told me na they’ll be coming tomorrow to check our canopy … pero ni anino nila wala pumunta ngayon sa bahay. Ang saya nila. Hindi na nga ako lumabas ng bahay eh para talagang matutukan ko ang trabaho nila, pero asan sila? Wala?

4. 2 days down ang server nila for Yahoo and Gmail … tsk! Imagine 2 days nila ginawa? Susmiyo … ano ba naman to? Sayang naman yung binabayad namin na 999 a month kung lagi ganito.

5. Pag may connection ok siya … mabilis, nakangiti ka ng sobra-sobra … mga after 30 mins medyo bumabagal na, medyo nawawala na yung ngiti mo … after nun madidisconnect ka na nakasimangot ka na … wait ka lang ng 15mins ok nanaman pero parang paawa lang nila, para masabi na may connection ka, magkakaroon ka nga pero ang bagal naman.

6. Jason is using a dial-up connection at home. Mas masaya siya kaysa sa amin. Hahaha pang-asar di ba? Dial-up yun, we’re suppose to be more happier kasi 7x faster connection ang sa amin … oo nga 7x faster ang connection namin … wag lang uulan at totopakin. Di kami makalaro ng online game (RAN Online … the one we are addicted right now) … kasi laging lag. Hahaha nakakaloka naman tong internet namin.

7. But there are also instances that super duper sunny naman ang panahon eh wala kami connection. Meron man … mas mabagal pa sa dial up ang connection namin.

Okay … pano nila eexplain to sa tao? Kung kami lang nagkakaroon ng ganitong problema … eh di mukhang may problema nga yung location ng Canopy namin. In the first place, kung mahina talaga ang signal nila dito, dapat hindi na nila in-approve ang subscription namin and settle for Globe broadband. Or sana they told us na pag umuulan ganun po talaga ang connection, nawawala. Hahaha … while I was typing this entry. The connection is on and off. I can see it on my Gmail notifier kasi. Hahaha! Wala kasi money back gurantee yung contract eh. Is it possible na ma-terminate yung contract because of unsatisfied clients like us? I mean, kung laging ganito, di ba mas maganda ibalik nalang nila yung binayad namin, pullout nila yung canopy nila and pretend it never happened. I’m consulting Jason’s sister about this. Kasi talagang nabubwisit na kami sa performance ng broadband nila. Parang mas nagustuhan ko pa yung performance ng dial-up eh.

Hay … wala lang … stress release … ok na ako … tsk!

Food Tasting

We had our food tasting last Saturday. My mom went with us. She wanted to see the place. And she loved it. Sabi niya maganda and walang problema pag umulan dahil covered ang Windmills. And she find Ms. Nora accommodating and very nice. The food is great. I’m sure our guest will be super duper busog sa wedding namin Ako nga di ko naubos yung pagkain ko kasi hindi na talaga kaya pa ng tiyan ko. Himala! Good news din, we’ll gonna have a choco fountain, its free in our package kasi. Yun nga lang we will be the one to provide the dippers for it. Ok lang yun, magkano naman ang dippers compare to 10K choco fountain rental sa ibang suppliers. We also discussed with Ms. Nora that we’ll gonna have a quartet and the cake table Ms. Emily needs for our cupcake tree is a 10 seater round table. Sabi ni Ms. Nora na masyado daw malaki yun for the cake. But meron siya big table for cakes. Kaya yun nalang daw ang papagamit niya. Since wala kami AVP, dun nalang ilalagay yung band. She gave us a new searing layout for our guest.

I’m having problems signing in my gmail account. I don’t know where the problem is. When I tried signing in my yahoo account, I can’t get in either. Waaaaaahhhhh ano nanaman ang problema ngayon? Bat ba ang lupit ng mundo? 2 days ko na di nachecheck ang email ko. Malamang puno na yun. Saka baka nag-email na sa akin si Ms. Trina about the invites. Hay o hay …

Ok … back to my project… DIY RSVP and Map …

Oh well…

I woke up at 8:00a.m. when I texted Paul Vincent what time we’ll gonna pick up the prenup photo CD in his booking office.

Me: gud am paul, wat tym nmin pwede pik up ung CD nmin?
Paul: kung ok lng syo ngyon n, aalis ksi ako, 5pm na ako babalik.
Me: huwat? eh kaggsing ko lng po, d b pwede pik up nlng nmin dyan kht wla ka?

long pause

Paul: o cge hintay kita til 11am … pick up nyo na rin yung tarp nyo.
Me: ok c yah!

Then I texted Ms. Trina naman the same question kung what time kami pwede pumunta sa house niya. Sabi niya 5pm … eh may lakad si Jason. Kaya sabi namin na ok lang na kay Ms. Shelly na muna iiwan yung mock up para makita namin at an earlier time. Wala naman daw problem sa kanya.

I went to my brother’s room to wake up Jason. As usual, natulog nanaman siya sa bahay para makatipid ng gas. Kasi nga marami kami appointment today sa mga suppliers namin. Hindi naman kami nahirapan puntahan yung booking office ni Paul. Kasi clear naman yung directions niya kahit sa text lang yun. Medyo nahilo lang ako sa pag-akyat sa spiral staircase ng office niya hahaha. We so love the the tarpauline he made for us. Eto yung photo na ginamit niya. Wala kasi yun sa online album niya. And madami din kami nice shots sa prenup na hindi niya sinama dun. gusto ko nga pa-print lahat yun when I have time. Kaso ang problema ko, pano ko siya maka-crop na size 4R or 3R? Kasi malaki yung pixel na ginamit ni Paul so I can zoom it kung ano lang kailangan mo i-zoom. Eto din kasi yung gusto ko ilagay dun sa souvenir namin na photo frames. Grabe Nice yung tarpauline promise. natuwa nga si Mommy. Ipapakita daw niya sa mga officemates niya tomorrow hahaha! Naka-crop na to…pero yung Tarpau namin kita ang sky hihihi!

We went to Ms. Trina to see our 3rd mock-up … and ok na siya. I already signed the approval sheet stating that everything is ready for production na. She will text me if the invites are done already. Next week tapos na daw yun. kaya dapat madaliin ko na din yung DIY Mao and RSVP namin. Napag-usapan namin ni Jason na gawin ng iisa nalang yung map and RSVP. Kinuha namin yung dimensions ng invites namin kay Ms. Trina para naman pareho yung size niya with our main invites. Busy bee na ako tomorrow promise. Hindi muna ako mag oonline games hihihi pero siyempre mag-YM ako tomorrow to talk to my friends while working on it.

I already gave my deposit with Ms. Gerri so that she can work out on our wedding kikays … buti nalang mom’s office is in Ortigas. Kaya siya nalang nilambing ko to deposit our downpayment to Ms. Gerri. Ayan ha, mission accomplish na ako sa ibang to-do’s ko. Hotel preps and bridal car nalang … si Wella (ni Nikky) told me sa Hotel Rembrandt nalang daw ako kumuha ng bridal car. Much cheaper and convenient daw kasi. Buti nalang nabanggit niya. Tatawag nalang ako sa Hotel Rembrandt tomorrow.

Hay no time to read blogs nowadays. Palaging may gumagamit ng computer ni bunso. mas faster kasi ang connection nito kaysa laptop ni dad. Basta may gagawin na ako tomorrow whoopee! And may question na din pala ako … sana may sumagot na concern citizen … pano po i-ka-crop yung photo sa desired size mo? as in yung size na ginagamit sa pag-print ng photos (example, 3R, 2R, 4R) etc. hope may tumulong sa akin … I need your help badly …

You’re so addicting

Since we got our Wifi connection (which is very unstable at this moment lalo na pag umuulan… nawawala yung internet namin) my bro and tried out some of the free installation CDs he got from the mall. I tried O2Jam pero wala talaga ako patience sa pagtipak ng keyboard ng ganun kabilis. waaaaaahhh!

Of course, ang walang kakupas-kupas na Pangya na pinagsawaan ko na… I’m not much into golf pero aliw na aliw ako sa mga characters dun lalo na pag nakaka-Birdie at hole in one … sumasayaw pa eh hahaha.

At eto ang very addicting … RAN online … kasalanan ng kapatid ko to eh. Ayan tuloy, lagi ako nag-oonline because of this. Stress reliever to ha … with all the preps and all (at nagagahul na sobra) dapat medyo magrelax muna (teka, sobrang relax na ata ako). Ang masama pa nito, pati si Jason super addicted na din dito. Baka wala na kami ma-accomplish pareho. Minsan dun kami nag-uusap sa chat ng RAN … hahaha! kaloka nga eh kasalanan ko nanaman to …sa Pangya ako din nag-influence sa kanya. Tapos sa bandang huli ako din magagalit sa kanya pag super engrossed na siya sa game … oh super bad ako.

Dapat I’ll be meeting 3 suppliers today (Invites, Wedding Kikays and Photo) kaso ginamit ni kuya yung car. Wala ako gagamitin. Tapos si Jason naman hindi pwede. May submittals kasi siya ngayon sa client niya. 3 different areas kasi yun, kung mag-tataxi ako o mag-kocommute ako… eh ubos pera ko. Kaya I re-schedule our appointments to Thursday though I’m coordinating naman with those suppliers kung ano gusto namin. Yung sa DIY RSVP and Map naman yung photos nalang ang kailangan and we’re all set to print it out. Nakaready na kasi yung file and layout, ilalagay nalang yung photos. Since I don’t have the time to look for eyelets, I asked Ms. Trina if I could buy eyelets from her nalang. Sabi niya ok lang no problemo hehehe!

I’m so bad … huhuhu! OK lang yan kaya ko yan, hirap talaga unemployed. Kung ano-ano na ginagawa. 2 months nalang and I’m getting married na … ano ba tong ginagawa ko … sitting pretty pa din parang di nag-aalala … waaaaahhhhh!

Something to rave about…

Guess what? We already have our Wifi connection … whoopeee! Sa wakas … mabilis na ang connection ko, pwede na ako mag-download ng MP3s, pwede na ako mag-upload ng maraming pics… mabubuksan ko na ang blog ni Mai (ni Paul). I’m so happy… super happy as in. Ang babaw ng kaligayahan ko hahaha.

At sa wakas na-view ko na din ang mga AVP’s ng aking mga fellow w@wies like Nap & Rhea, Dione and Joven and Kris & Den, pati na din kay Gazzel na gawa ni Dan … ang ganda grabe. Grabe ang goosebumps ko, kasi my imaginations working nanaman on my own wedding day … how it will turn out on that day. Hay bahala na si Lord. I know wala naman siya gagawin para masira ang araw na iyon

Pero tamad mode ako ngayon … later or tomorrow, I will post a longer one.

Marriage License and 2nd Mock-up for Invites …

Today, we went to Quezon City Hall to get our marriage license. It’s very easy, wala masyadong pila kaya di masyado sumakit ulo namin ni Jason. Kumuha muna kami ng cedula. He paid 100 plus while me 20.80 lang. Kasi unemployed ako. Walang basehan ng salary hehehe. Tapos nagpunta na kami sa Civil Registry Office, kumuha ng form sa Window 10. pero you have to pay 150 pesos muna. After that Nag-fill up na kami nun. Yun ang medyo matagal. Ang dami kasi nung kailangan i-fill up tapos 2 copies pa. Eh puno yung desk para sulatan. Kaya sa chair namin siya sinulat. Pahirap hehehe. After nun sabi punta kami sa desk on the left side para sa notary … nagbayad kami ng 100 (50 pesos each kasi) tapos binalik ulit naming kay manong. We just gave them our requirements and we’ll gonna get it on Aug. 28. 10 working days.

After that, we went to Ms. Trina’s house. Unfortunately, she wasn’t there. May unplanned walk daw siya. So we talked to Shelly, her assistant. We already saw the 2nd mock up. We liked the paper she used for our main invites. But the envelope is baby blue, so we told her to make the envelope in turquoise. And the ribbon is still not yellow, more of on the orange side. Siyempre lumabas yung pagka-OC ni Jason, nagpadagdag siya ng border sa invites para daw di masyado plain. And nagpalagay din siya ng eyelet para magkasama yung invites. So we’ll gonna wait for the 3rd mock up na. Sana the third mock up would turn out ok na. Para mag-print na kami at ma-distribute na ist week of September. Kaya kaya? We’ll see..

I’m planning to buy a calligraphy set for my invites. Sayang naman yung napag-aralan ko sa Visual Tech sa college kung di ko siya gagamitin di ba? Ang tanong is … magkano? May idea ba kayo how much? Saka saan meron? Kasi I’m browsing National Booktore’s website, parang wala na ata … hmmm…

We already have the necessary documents - Baptismal, Birth, Confirmation, CENOMAR, DW Certificate, ipapasa nalang sa Twin Hearts right after we get our Marriage License sa Quezon City Hall. Wedding Bans to be picked up on August 30.
2. Reception: Windmills and Rainforest – 50% DP – still waiting for Ms. Nora on our schedule for the food tasting.
3. Bride’s gown and Female Entourage: I Do Bridal Collection – 75% DP - 3rd gown fitting last August 10, beadworks are 30% done already.
4. Photo: Paul Vincent Photography – paid 50% DP – prenup shoot done last August 10.
5. Video: Dan Pamintuan – paid 50% DP – AVP done during prenup shoot with Paul.

May kulang pa ba ako sa mga sinulat ko? Right now I’m watching Fullhouse on DVD. Currently I’m on episode 14. 16 episodes siya. I missed watching this one nung napunta ako sa Laoag eh. Hehehe like I said, I’m a sucker for Asian telenovelas hihihi. Pinapahanap ko nga kay bunso yung Lavander … hindi ko kasi naumpisahan yun. Pero maganda yung story niya. Hirap talaga walang trabaho … hay o hay!

Kwento kwento lang …

Yesterday, some of my abay texted me that they had their 2nd fitting na. My 2 secondary sponsors eh meron pa daw adjustment. Aba! Pumayat sila? Nagpapa-sexy ang mga abay ko ha. Tapos yung 3 na pinsan ko din nag-fit na, kaso yung sa Maid of Honor di pa daw tapos. Kaya may 3rd fitting pa siya. After nun dumiretso sila sa house. She delivered my kissing bells already. I kept it immediately on one of my OC box para di na masira pa. And my cousin told me na dagdagan daw namin kasi masyadong konti yung kissing bells namin. Gawin ko na daw 100 para half of the guest has it. Kaya we’re planning to go to Divisoria maybe next month para na rin bumili ng Party popper. Grabe so many things to do pa waaaaaaaaaahhhh!

Ayos na ang mga gamit ko ngayon. Kasi kinuha na ng mga pinsan ko yung mga old but still looks new clothes ko. Nawalan na ng laman ang closet ko kaya naayos ko na ang mga damit ko. At sobrang daming space for Jason’s stuff. hehehe! Labs, pwede ka na mag-unti-unti ng gamit mo sa room ko hihihi!

Last night, Jason slept again here in our house coz we’ll gonna get my confirmation certificate today. He told me they’ve won the tournament and may cash price na 4,000. Whoopee pandagdag bayad sa invitations din yun ah? Bait talaga ni Lord saka ang galing talaga ng labs ko mwah!

Today, we got out of the house at 10:00a.m. pretty late huh? Hehehe hirap kasi gumising ng maaga eh. We arrived almost 12 noon na sa Parokya ni Santiago Apostol sa Plaridel, Bulacan. Buti nalang in-accommodate pa kami dun. Hinintay lang namin mga 15mins. Medyo natagalan sila hanapin yung records ko. 1990 pa kasi, saka di kasi high-tech eh. Record books lang ang gamit. Unlike sa church sa Novaliches, naka-database na sa PC yung mga records nila. After that we had our lunch sa tollway plaza. Tapos dumiretso kami ng SM North Edsa to apply for our WiFi Connection … pero pinapunta pa rin kami sa SM Fairview kasi sabi nung taga-Smart, mas malawak daw yung mapping ng Smart SM Fairview kaysa sa kanila. Medyo matagal lang yung pila sa bayaran. Pero sa application mabilis lang. Buti walang tanong-tanong sa trabaho … kasi wala ako maiilalagay na kumpanya … or I can put Jason’s firm naman eh hihihi. Sa August 17 pa daw sila magkakabit ng connection. Hay tagal naman … sana bukas nalang. After that, we went to hear mass.

Tomorrow, Jason will get our CENOMAR and Birth Certificates sa NSO. Whoopeee marriage license nalang and tapos na kami sa documents sa Twin Hearts. Sakto, papa-check ko na din yung misalette namin para maka-print na kami nun.

Hay o hay … may kulang pa ba sa mga to-do’s ko?

The much awaited photos of us … maraming langgam ang nag-sakripisyo para sa prenup na ito (pinatay kasi lahat ni Paul sa sobrang pagmamahal niya sa amin na di kami makagat) … Pinagkakasya niya ako sa mga lugar na alam naman ng lahat na di ako kasya pero game pa din smile at pose pa rin kami. Ilang beses na din natapilok si Paul dito. Kahit maputik masaya pa din. Kahit mainit masaya pa din. At no trace of baby fats … galing no? Dan, yung video namin asan na? hehehe super proud ako kasi si Jason super game sa pag-poise … di siya nahirapan

3rd Gown Fitting, Prenup Kwento and Invitation mock-up

Yesterday, I had my 3rd gown fitting. I’m so happy with my gown’s look right now. May beadwork na siya. And the sleeves are done ok na. And I’ve lost weight kaya hindi na masikip yung gown ko whoopee! And I asked Jason if my gown is ok… ok naman daw sa kanya yung gown. What a relief!

I had my make up done with EJ again for our prenup shoot with Paul and Dan. I went to her salon around 1pm because I know how long she takes to have her make up done. OC kasi si Ms. EJ kaya matagal siya mag-make up. 10mins to 3:00pm tapos na ang make up ko nun. We went to Jollibee Philcoa to meet up with the crew … naks … parang artista hahaha!

We had a great time with the prenup. Magaling talaga si Paul sa motivation. I can see Jason was so game sa prenup namin. Pero nakakatawa lang kasi yung mga posing namin eh. Mga hindi mo akalain na gagawin namin hahaha! Saka si Paul magaling talaga, kulang nalang mag-pose kami sa drainage sa UP Campus for his shots. Hahaha … hindi naman umulan that day kaso maputik yung lugar. Di tuloy kami maka-upo sa grass. Pero it was fun. Tapos nandun pa si Dan filming and documenting every move we make. Kasama pa mga wife nila. Super duper great experience. Can’t wait for the photos to be posted sa site ni Paul (Paul ang tagal naman hahaha! Joke lang ha!)

After that we went to Ms. Trina Valenzuela for our invitations. I really am proud with Jason, mas OC na siya kaysa sa akin. I thought ok na yung invites na pinagawa ko kay Ms. Trina. Pero ang dami pa niya pina-revise sa invites namin. When we our on our way home, he told me to text Ms. Trina about having the mock-up made the other way around. Instead of turquoise as the main invites color, gawin ko daw yung yellow naman tapos yung envelop ang turquoise. Buti pumayag si Ms. Trina hehehe. We’ll gonna see the mock up on Saturday.

Before I end up my entry, I would like to share this with you. My brother and I are suckers for Korean movies. These excerpt come from the movie “Almost Love”. It’s a story about childhood sweethearts became in love with each other but having a hard time to express it. The excerpt comes from the novel the guy wrote to his friend. It really moved me … hahaha corny.

“Some people have said, talking about love, is that all? In reality, liking somebody is the least productive thing in the world. It doesn’t feed you, nor does it bring any money to you. Sleeplessness causes loss of mobility, acting silly all day and all night, mistaken for being a mental patient. You go through painful jealous and a broken heart. Do you still believe in love?
