Hay badtrip!

Today I was scheduled to have my TVU with follicular monitoring. This isn’t the first time I had my follicular monitoring. My first was last month. My OB told me to have it in FEU Hospital. And since it’s only a 10 minute drive away from home, I agreed.

At first, akala namin konti lang ang patients. When I went up to the receptionist, she told me I’m patient no. 10 na daw and kakaumpisa palang ng procedure kay Patient no. 1. We paid for the procedure and waited for my turn. We were there at around 4:00pm.

At 5:00 p.m., Jason became a little bit cranky (mainipin kasi) already, asking bakit ang tagal daw. So I went inside to talk to some interns. They told me they’re already with Patient no. 5. Lima nalang pala, so hinintay na namin.

So I did, and texted my OB na hindi na ako magpapa-ultrasound ever sa FEU. Super tagal ng services nila grabe! Naloloka ako. The first time I went there naman, na-late yung OB Sonologist ng 2 hours. So late na siya nag-procedure … eh pang-number 14 ako nun. Buti nalang some of them already backed-out. Kaya naging pang-lima na ako. But this time, hindi ko na ma-take talaga.

  3. hmm, actually, depende rin. ang talagang busy time e yung after office hours, lunch breaks and monday and fridays — kaya kami we always sked our check ups early morning. as in yung tipong kami ang una talaga.

Wala kaming choice huhuhu!

  5. hi ann! naku kaasar nga talaga yung experience mo. i also had the same experience when i was still seeing my first OB and because gusto ko ring makatipid, sa hospital ako nagpapa-ultrasound nun. but when my ob passed away, lumipat ako sa dating student nya na ngayoy RE. she does the ultrasounds herself in her clinic so after administering the procedure, she discusses the results immediately with me. laking convenience talaga! yun nga lang, di sya covered ng insurance. oh well, you can’t have everything. 😛

i hope it all works out for you. i know what you’re going through. just keep the faith! ***sprinkling baby dust on you***

  6. naku ann, umpisa pa lang ng paghihintay yan! hehe. by the way, how far along are you? kami nga hanggang ngayon intay pa din ng intay sa pedia. minsan late pa yung doctor kaya kawawa mga babies pag nagiintay.

  7. Hi Leah … more baby dust please hihihi! thanks sa baby dust … hope it will work hihihi!

Hi Iris, la pa kami baby eh 🙂 the TVU is for follicle monitoring only :). Para makita kung may nag-mature akong eggcell. OK naman, both ovaries are functioning.

  9. Hi Pao, ganun nga yata talaga so walang choice kundi maghintay hehehe.

Follicular monitoring, bale papa-measure sa OB Sonologist yung egg cells na nasa ovaries ko kung nag-mature or not. May Polycystic Ovaries ako kaya tinitreat ako ngayon. Hindi ko alam if it goes to other female who’s not having PCOS.
