Do’s and Don’t on Pregnancy

This is according to the book I’m reading, newsletters, sabi-sabi ng mga magulang at matatanda at mga kaibigan. Pag buntis ka pala madaming bawal, madaming sinusunod. Minsan napapraning na ako kasi baka nagbibreak na ako ng rules eh di ko pa alam. I’m willing to go through all that basta maging healthy ang baby ko.

  1. Bawal magbuhat ng mabigat.
  2. Iwasan ang mga food or things that will trigger your allergies. Sensitive ang allergies pag buntis. Hindi ako naniwala until I’ve tried eating bagoong. Ayan… pantal all over! Sish! Pasaway!
  3. Always listen to what your OB tells you. Kung sumusunod ka sa payo niya, you’re in good hands.
  4. Don’t miss any pre-natal check-ups.
  5. Lahat ng sobra ay bawal … bawal sobrang maalat, sobrang matamis, sobrang spicy, sobrang kain at sobrang tulog.
  6. Bawal magpuyat.
  7. Always happy thoughts, bawal ma-stress.
  8. Kumain kung kailangan… pag nagugutom kumain lang … wag lang sobra.
  9. Take lots of fluids … 8 glasses of water, more fruit jucies. Bawal ang soda … pwede ang coffee basta decaf.
  10. Eat fiber rich foods para maiwasan ang constipation. Constipation is one of the things you’ll gonna experience for 9 months.
  11. Wag manonood ng Kokey.
  12. Exercise, pero wag yung nakakapagod. A little of Aerobics would do…wag lang yung mga routine na may tumatalon. Walking pwede hindi jogging.
  13. Raw foods should be erased on the diet. So 9 months no Japanese Food ๐Ÿ˜ฆ awwww… favorite ko pa naman yun.
  14. Listen to classical music, it helps the brain development of the baby. I’m not a fan ofย  classical music. Buti nalang nauso yung mga rock music turned classical music through string quartet. ๐Ÿ™‚ download ng download!
  15. Always have a box of tissue with you, pag pregnant daw, madalas clog ang nose .
  16. Hindi bawal ang sex during pregnancy, unless you’re prone to bleeding, saka pag ka-buwanan na.

Well, that’s all I have for now. I haven’t finished reading the book yet. And I’m still on my first trimester. I know there’ll be more “don’ts” in my daily routine.ย  If you want to share anything just leave some love on my entry ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. hi Cheche and Thet, oo yun ang sabi ng mga matatanda. Eh sinusunod ko lang hahaha! hindi talaga ako mapaniwala sa mga ganun kasi based naman sa pregnancy book na binabasa ko di totoo yun. Hay … eh wala din naman mawawala kung susundin yung mga pamahiin o kasabihan nila di ba ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Hi She! Congrats! Triple ingat talaga when your are pregnant. Try eating crackers before you get up sa bed para hindi ka mahilo. Dont skip breakfast kasi talagang masusuka the whole day. Eat nilagang mani kasi it helps sa brain development ni baby.

  6. @ Ivy, hi thanks for dropping by my blog ๐Ÿ™‚ Wala ako problem sa pagbangon eh, problem ko ung every 3 hours nagugutom ako. Dun ako nahihilo at nangangasim ang tiyan, sandamakmak na crackers na nga nandito sa bahay. yun lagi kinakain ko para magkalaman tiyan ko. I’ll link you up sa blog ko ok ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. re: “wag manood ng kokey” – LOL I was telling hubby nun friday, “buti nalang di yan palabas nung buntis ako”. I swear hindi cute si Kokey, nakakatakot.

  8. aytee! ako din dati ganyan. laging gutom. lagi fiesta sa cubicle ko sa dami ng food. yung gutom na feeling na parang isang linggong hindi nakakain.

  9. ann, sabi nung OB ko sex makes it easier for the baby to come out, it is true for us, ahahaha… dont eat food that would irritate your stomache such as pinapple, oranges, yung ganung tipo ba. and for classical music, avoid those with violins daw, i dont really know why but ganun daw e. basta relaxing music, oks na yon. and here is something i wrote, you might want to read it esp if you plan to breastfeed.

  10. @ Tina, naku sinabi mo. Wala ng nanonood ng Kokey ngayon sa bahay.

    @ hazedpurple, feeling ko nga demanding yung baby namin… kasi pag nagugutom ako, ang sign niya is naduduwal ako. As in hangga’t wala ako kinakain continiously naduduwal ako. Kaya talagang kakain ka at kakain talaga.

Hi good morning, buntis k 3 months from the start kc tlga night duty ako.Tpos ngaun dna k pumapasok more than 2 weeks na kung di natutulog s gabi kasi kahit anong gagawin ko di tlaga ako makaTulog. Sa araw naman ang tulog ko lang nsa 5 to 6 hrs. Ang problema ko po ang dami pong lumalabas s balat k n allergy sobra pong kati. Dipa k nkapagpatingin s doctor dahil antay ko pa katapusan sa sahod. Masama po ba sa baby ang pagpupuyatk? Pro ok namn po ako s pagkain malakas po ako kumain tulog lang talaga ang problema k at ung skin allergy n lumalabas s akn.
