Almost 2 weeks MIA

One good reason why I’m missing in action for almost two weeks is for the benefit of our baby. According to my ultrasound last Oct. 3, there was a hemorrhage seen where the baby is implanted. Kaya my OB told me to have bed rest. Bawal matagtag so no travel at all. Duphaston 3 times a day … a multivitamin and folic acid… lots of fluids (juice and lots of water).

But last week, I’ve been complaining of having more body aches than ever. I asked my OB if I can have some walking around the house, and paminsan-minsan na paupo-upo.

My next ultrasound will be on Wednesday, yun nalang ang ishi-share kong photo ni baby kasi ung photo niya at 6 weeks eh medyo maliit pa siya, di pa talaga makikita. Imagine, 8 weeks na ako ๐Ÿ™‚ I keep praying for a worry free pregnancy. So far so good. Manageable naman lahat. And hubby is giving in to all my cravings. Waahahahhaa!

According to babycenter.com … this is how my baby is now:

Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby’s hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his “tail” is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven’t developed enough to reveal whether you’re having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby โ€” about the size of a kidney bean โ€” is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can’t feel it.

The common problems I’m encountering now is constipation. Even if I drink a lot of fluids and eating and chewing my food well, I’m still constipated. OB told me if I missed one day not going to the toilet, take 2 tabs of Senokot. Grabe! It’s an angel talaga! Parang super linis ko after flushing out everything in one sitting.ย  Pasintabi sa mga kumakain ha! Hehehe!

Sabi ni OB normal daw yun… and there’ll be more pag malapit na ako manganak. Yaiks!

  2. sana maresolve na ung hemorrhage mo. praying for your safe pregnancy, sis. take care!

  3. di ko na encounter ito ng pregnant ako actually nag school pa ko till my 5th month e, only nung 6th month ko nag cholesystectomy ako and 9th month constipated na ko, pahinga ka lang lagi susunod ka lang kay doc and everything would be ok ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. @ Thet, hindi lang siya pambuntis. It’s safer than other brands ata. Kasi OB naman told me na it’s safe and yun talaga binibigay nila sa mga patients nilang constipated. Try mo, 5 peso lang per tab …

@ Cheche, hi sis, oo nga sana nga wala ng hemorrhage. Para makakilos naman ako ng maayos. Eh kahit ata magbalat ng saging ayaw nila ipagawa sa akin … over di ba? hahaha!

@ JOan, you’re one of the few na hindi nako-constipate during pregnancy. Actually wala siyang symptoms at all… basta alam niya may baby siya at lumalaki tiyan niya. Kakainggit no?

  5. hi anne,

miss kita ah…. pagaling ka ha…
eniways, have something for you in my blog check it out

  6. try mo Nestle pro digestion for your constipation. It works wonders.

  8. hi anne,

i agree with tina, o kaya eat oatmeal, kasi sa akin naka-help ma ease constipation ko.. saka banana din, i make sure i eat 1 banana a day, so far very helpful naman. My mom advised me before apple helps as well, pero wag yung red apple- yung light colored na mansanas hanapin mo…. very good siya sa bowel movement. works well with me. and also, my OB advised me to refrain from eating beef and fried foods, kasi daw oily- and becoz relaxed ang muscles ng digestive system natin, hirap daw tunawin ang mga foods na to, which causes constipation din.

about the boob pain, naku lalo pa yang sasakit as months go by- m on my 5th month na at minsan naiiyak ako sa sakit lalo na pagkahubad ng undergarment…. by the way yung coco body butter ng body shop helps with the “itchiness” of my booby… try it..

  9. hi sis! nice to ‘read’ that you and baby are okay ๐Ÿ™‚ sana tuloy-tuloy na yan. wag muna maging pasaway na mommy at si baby ang mas kawawa. ingatz!

  12. missed yah lady pasawife…. hope u and ur baby are doing well… wag pasaway… magpahinga!

  13. @ Anne, thank you sis ๐Ÿ™‚ that’s so sweet of you ๐Ÿ™‚

@ Tina, sige try ko. Lactose intolerant kasi ako ngayon. I don’t know if Nesvita Pro willwork on me… sana!

@ Joan, super duper ako masunurin kay OB. Minsan nga feeling ko nakukulitan na yun kakatext ko kung pwede ba gawin to o pwede ba kainin to … mga ganun hehehe.

@ Antuken, hi sis, pinagdadasal ko palagi na wag sana ako bed rest the whole time I’m pregnant. Hindi ako makakapagshopping ng baby stuff huhuhu!

@ Azrael, kuya rob, I miss you na po!

  14. Hi Ann! Take lots of bed rest talaga. I hope everything goes well this Wednesday for the check-up. And as for your constipation, pag buntis talaga ganyan. Ako nga I’m 34 weeks,ehh.. ganyan paren pero I drink A LOT of water and then eat lots of fruits. Breakfast ko fruits mostly and drink milk tapos tea after sa pagkain pero yung tea na hindi pang diet..haha:)
