Baby J @ 31 Weeks

This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He’s probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby’s kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

Yes, 31 weeks na ako sa Wednesday. Weeeeee… Jason and I stopped shopping for a while for Holy Week. We just stayed at home with my two brothers and my mom. While Dad went to Laoag to visit Mamang. Baby J received some hand-me-down stuffs from her cousin Jamiel. Sana di na ako bumili ng maraming onesies, kasi puro onesies yung binigay nila. And eto pa, pinamana din yung baptismal gown niya. Kakatuwa! I can’t wait for Baby J to use the Haviannas Slippers. So cute!

There were times na nan-totoxic si baby J. Susme, minsan super tamad magkikikilos.

I’m also having my allergy attacks because of the heat. So kung san may sweat, may allergy ako dun.

Lately I’ve been having asthma attacks because of the weather.

Maundy Thursday was spent at home fixing our room/nursery room. We agreed that we switched rooms with my brother kasi mas bigger yung room nila kaysa sa amin. I was really dead tired that day kahit puro dampot dito dampot dun lang ginagawa ko.

We did try to set up the playpen.

Dapat ma-install na before Baby J comes in May. O di ba demanding hahaha.

We’re still on the hunt of our new car … Kaya medyo nahihirapan kami talaga maghanap. Meron ba kayo alam?

For those who are eating rice (I know naman everybody does), start na kayo magtipid, pero wag kayo mag-hoard. Magkakaroon tayo ng shortage of rice. This is according to a very reliable source. Serious kami masyado no? Naku pabor ata ako sa mash potatoes at corn as rice replacement.

And thanks for all the blessings You have given us.

  1. you’re really feeling pregnant now no? 🙂 at wag mo naman mashado ipressure sarili mo na mag-gagalaw dahil baka i-take for granted mo din ang pag-rest mo. it’s not always that you feel na kaya mo eh, kaya ni baby J ang stress. advice lang naman, kasi ganun nangyari sakin kaya napaaga ng 2 months si Mia. i should’ve listened talaga to my mom and my OB back then to just really rest. kulit ko eh. 🙂

LOL

  3. naku nakakatuwa magbasa ng mga updates mo – knowing na in a few months, i’ll be experiencing similar things. korek ka dyan sa kainitan ng panahon! kawawa ang mga kuryente bills natin pero of course, baby’s comfort and health comes first! kami puro split type ang aircons namin sa house kasi structurally hindi puwede ang window type – we always get the brand Kolin. relatively cheaper siya and in terms of electricity consumption, it isn’t that bad! 🙂 Good luck sa car hunting! 🙂

Iba talaga nagagawa ng baby sa pamilya no? ingat palagi ha!

@ Nikki, hi sis … musta ang buntis? Thanks sa input re: Kolin. Sige, suggest ko kina dad yun. Kasi I think this weekend na ata kami bibili para daw ma-install na. Isang araw lang naman daw ini-install yun.

I’ll link you up pala sa aking blog. mwah! ingats palagi!

  5. hi! i think it’s great that you’re making a blog about your pregnancy blow by blow. ang sarap balik-balikan ng preggy days. good luck and take care. i linked you up in my blog. =)

  6. we’re on the same boat pagdating jan sa mga allergy attacks because of the heat! Kainis nga because I can’t avoid it kasi di pa airconditioned yung office ko ngayon, kaya naman pag dating ng house super aircon naman ako, kaya I’m expecting our electric bill to be doubled next billing period!

  7. @ Rhea, I’m surely gonna miss my preggy days when Baby J is already out.

I’ll link you up as well.

@ Heidi, wag na muna natin isipin yung electric bill sa panahon na ito, for me kasi mas magastos and mas toxic pag may allergies tayo di ba?kaya aircon ang bestfriend natin ngayon hehehe.
